Extended Abstract Submission

Authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit their long contributions for inclusion in the Proceedings of fib Symposium 2027. Authors can chose between

  • full paper (max. 8 pages) and
  • extended abstract (max. 3 pages),

including all text, figures, tables, references, and acknowledgements.

Authors are kindly requested to follow the template formatting and style guidelines carefully, as papers not complying with the required format may be returned and risk exclusion from publication. Submitted contribution will undergo peer review, and authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts.

Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the proceedings. Requirements for final acceptance:

  • positive reviews regarding both content and form,
  • upload of a revised contribution, taking into account the reviews,
  • registration and payment of the presenting author (one person may present up to two talks).

Please also ensure

  • that the title and keywords are updated,
  • an abstract of max. 300 words is provided, and
  • the spelling of all persons' names and affiliations is consistent across all accounts and relevant papers

in the ConfTool system when uploading the final version. These data will be later used in the symposium's app.
